Barbara,
I have been teaching teleseminars, both free and the ones I charge for, for many years.
A few ideas:
- Create a sales page for the teleseminar. Even free teleseminars need to be marketed and promoted, so you need to create a sales page for it. Make sure you discuss the benefits that your potential attendees are going to receive when they attend the teleseminar.
- Market the teleseminar everywhere - promote it through your newsletter, your blog, your network here, other social networks you are a member of, etc. As I mentioned before, even free classes need to be marketed.
- Automate the sign-up process - put the sign up process on an autoresponder, so that everyone who registers gets the call-in number automatically and you have more time left for marketing.
In April I taught How To Use Free Teleseminars To Get More Newsletter Subscribers And Clients Teleseminar to members of my online business mentoring program, MarketingSalad.com. The audio of it is available to members. You can get it when you become a member at http://www.marketingsalad.com/teleseminars.html
