Views: 254 Mar 05, 2008 3:27 am I saw a cool inexpensive marketing idea at my local restaurant... # Barbara Casey INEXPENSIVE MARKETING IDEAS: I was picking up a takeout dinner at my local family restaurant a couple of nights ago and saw one of my marketing tips in practice. On the counter in front of (and hiding) the not-so-lovely cash register was a bouquet of quite lovely flowers, along with a whole lot of business cards from the florist who supplied the flowers - free - in exchange for this quite prime advertising space. (This is a busy restaurant.) It reminded me of a tip I wrote a few years back for my "Inexpensive Marketing" page on the topic of cross-promotions.
